The Kingdom of the Chachapoyas
Chachapoyas, in northeastern Peru, is famous for its pre-Incan history, amazing landscapes and biodiversity. The Kuélap fortress stands out, known as "The Machu Picchu of the north", a walled citadel built by the Chachapoyas culture, and the Gocta Waterfall, one of the highest in the world.
The region also offers archaeological sites such as the sarcophagi of Karajía, the mausoleums of Revash and the Lake of the Condors, making up a destination full of natural and cultural wonders to discover.
